Alan B. Howe, Chairman of the Board
Alan B. Howe became a director in May 2007. Mr. Howe has extensive operational expertise combined with corporate finance and business development experience. Since May 2005, he has served as Vice President of Strategic and Wireless Business Development for Covad Communications, Inc., a national broadband telecommunications company. From April 2001 to May 2005, Mr. Howe was a founding partner and principal at Broadband Initiatives, LLC, a boutique consulting and advisory firm. Previously, Mr. Howe was Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Corporate Development of Teletrac, Inc. for six years from 1995 to 2001 when the company was sold. During his tenure, he assisted with the Chapter 11 reorganization of the company in 1999. Mr. Howe joined Teletrac from Sprint, where he was Director of Corporate Development from 1994 to 1995 and one of the initial team members that helped start Sprint PCS. Mr. Howe is a member of the board of directors of Alliance Semiconductor Corporation, Crossroads Systems, Inc., and Dyntek, Inc. Mr. Howe holds a B.A. in business administration from the University of Illinois and an M.B.A. from the Indiana University Kelley Graduate School of Business with a specialty in finance.


John Gerdelman
John W. Gerdelman became a director in June 2004 in connection with our merger with Terabeam. Mr. Gerdelman is Executive Chairman of Intelliden Corporation, a leading provider of intelligent networking software solutions. Previously, Mr. Gerdelman was President and Chief Executive Officer of AboveNet, Inc., a provider of digital communications infrastructure solutions. Until April 2002, Mr. Gerdelman was Managing Partner of mortonsgroup LLC, an information technology and telecommunications venture group. Previously he had served as President and Chief Executive Officer of USA.NET, a provider of innovative email solutions, and as President of the network and information technology division of MCI Telecommunications Corporation. Mr. Gerdelman is a graduate of the College of William and Mary with a degree in Chemistry and currently serves on their Board of Visitors.


J. Michael Gullard
J. Michael Gullard became a director in 2007. Since 1984, he has served as a general partner of Cornerstone Management, a venture capital and consulting firm that provides strategic focus and direction for technology companies. He also serves on the board of directors of Alliance Semiconductor, Planar Systems, JDA Software, and DynTek and is the Chairman of Mainsoft Corp. Mr. Gullard's 33 years in the technology industry include having served as Chairman of Merant PLC and NetSolve as well as a number of executive and management posts at Telecommunications Technology Inc. and Intel Corporation. He holds a B.A. and an M.B.A from Stanford University.


Pankaj Manglik

Pankaj Manglik is President and CEO of Proxim Wireless (Nasdaq: PRXM). Proxim is a manufacturer of Wireless LAN (WLAN), Wi-Fi Mesh, WiMAX and Wireless Backhaul products with a global sales footprint and annual revenues of about $65M.

Prior to Proxim, Pankaj Manglik was co-founder and CEO of Aruba Networks (Nasdaq: ARUN), a worldwide leader in WLANs. Aruba Networks created a new market segment called WLAN Switching. Aruba is funded by Matrix Partners and Sequoia Capital. At Aruba, Mr. Manglik raised two rounds of funding, built out the entire team including a worldwide sales force and took the company from inception to early revenues.

Previously, Mr. Manglik held senior management positions at Alteon WebSystems, which went public and was acquired by Nortel Networks. As Director of Product Management, he defined a new market segment called Web Switching. Prior to that, Mr. Manglik directed the marketing of Cisco's StrataCom IGX multi-service switching platform increasing revenues to $400M per year. Previously, Mr. Manglik ran Intel's network engineering & design organization, being promoted 3 times in 4 years.

Mr. Manglik holds an MBA from The Wharton School of Business, in addition to Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Electronics Engineering and Computer Science.


Robert A. Wiedemer
Robert A. Wiedemer has been a director since December 2003. Since February 2002, he has been Managing Partner of Business Valuation Center, a company he co-founded that is focused on the valuation of private, middle-market companies throughout the United States. From June 2000 until January 2002, he held various positions at Pricesaroundtheworld.com, an Internet-based price research services firm, where he was promoted from Chief Financial Officer to Chief Executive Officer. From October 1998 until May 2000, he was Managing Partner of The Netfire Group, a financial and marketing consulting firm. From October 1993 until September 1998, he co-founded and served as Chief Executive Officer of a NASDAQ-listed electronic publishing company, Imark Technologies. Mr. Wiedemer holds a Masters Degree in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
